About Me
Jonah is a gentle, and cheerful boy who enjoys playing football with his friends and exploring how things work. He loves going to school and dreams of becoming a car mechanic so he can repair vehicles and earn a living that will allow him to care for his family. Despite the difficult start to his life, Jonah is eager to learn, respectful to others, and faces each day with hope. Overall health is good.
About My Family
Jonah lives with his aunt, who lovingly cares for him and more than six other vulnerable children who have been abandoned and others orphaned. His mother left him in his aunt’s care when he was a baby and has been unable to provide for him since then.
Jonah’s aunt earns a living as a seasonal gardener, working in other people’s fields whenever work is available and works with all the children whenever they are not at school. Her income is unpredictable and often not enough to meet the children’s basic needs. Even so, she remains committed to giving Jonah the stability every child deserves. A caring sponsor would ease this burden, allowing Jonah to continue learning with confidence and giving his aunt hope that she does not have to face this journey alone.
