Integrated Teenage Mothers’ Empowerment

A 12-month residential programme at the Young Mothers’ Home (YMH), providing comprehensive care from pregnancy through reintegration.

Turning setbacks into new beginnings.

Uganda’s teenage pregnancy rate stands at around 24–25%. At KSDA, we recognise that becoming pregnant as a teenager is rarely a choice, it’s often a result of limited access to information, guidance, and support.

We bring expectant teenage mothers under our care for 12 months: 9 months of pregnancy support and 3 months of postnatal care, followed by family reintegration and economic empowerment.
