About My Family
Jayla currently lives with her maternal aunt and three cousins in Mityana. Her father abandoned the family, and after her mother lost her job, she returned to her home village in Mukono to seek support from relatives. To ensure Jayla could continue her education, her aunt welcomed her into her home.
Jayla’s aunt owns a small shop in Mityana Town, which is the family’s main source of income. Although she works hard to provide for all four children, meeting the costs of food, clothing, school fees, and other basic needs remains a challenge. By sponsoring Jayla, you will give her the opportunity to stay in school and pursue her dream of becoming a teacher.
