Anitah enjoys playing volleyball with her friends and takes every opportunity to learn something new at school. She is cheerful, kind-hearted, and determined to succeed despite the many challenges she faces. Anitah dreams of completing her education and one day building a better life for her family. Overall health is good.
About My Family
Anitah comes from a family of eight children. After years of exhaustively struggling to provide for them, her mother disappeared, leaving the older siblings to take on the responsibility of looking after the younger ones. Despite these hardships, the children continue to support one another and hold on to hope for a brighter future.
Anitah now lives with an elderly caregiver who picked her up after seeing the life Anita and her siblings were living. This home has become her refuge. While her care giver’s resources are limited, she has given Anitah the one thing poverty could not take away-a chance to stay in school. With the support of a sponsor, that chance can become the beginning of a future filled with possibility instead of limitation.
